Trifit-XT Triathlon Camp

Whether you are new to the sport, or a veteran, the Trifit-XT Triathlon Camp will benefit you. The camp will consist of 6 hours of instruction, including individual feedback, covering many important topics of triathlon training and racing. 


Date: Saturday, July 7th
Time: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

At Cole’s Crossing Lap Pool (Across from Sampson Elementary):

7:00-8:00 AM= Run- A coach will take a look at your run form and give feedback on areas of improvement. We will provide beneficial drills to help with run form and improve economy.

8:00-9:00 AM= Strength- Coach Katie will take you through a relevant and functional strength program and teach proper form for various exercises that help reduce chance of injury, increases proprioception, and provides maximum strength benefits. You will receive a handout of a several different beneficial strength routines. 

9:00-10:00 AM= Transition- We will go over various ways to simplify and improve your transition time.  We will also practice and help you decide what transition method is best for you and the particular races you may have.

10:00- 12 noon= Swim- Full Swim workout, individual instruction and open water starts and practice techniques. 

12:00-1:00 PMNutrition-Coach Katie will cover topics related to sports nutrition, weight loss, “metabolic efficiency,” developing or maintaining a healthy digestive tract, hormonal balance, the psychological effects of food, resources to help you get on the right track with your diet, etc 

Other topics covered during the camp:

Equipment- This portion will save you more money than you paid for the clinic! Many people spend an unnecessary amount of money on equipment that only gives you minimal benefits. Coach Ben will help you discover what equipment will best suit your budget and give you the most “bang for your buck.”
Bike- Discuss the use of power or heart rate to help you train at the right intensity. Discuss bike strategies and equipment.

 What to bring-

All swimming, biking and running gear- including your bike and wear comfortable exercise apparel (plus bike or tri shorts). Also paper and pen to take notes.

Pricing- $125 for the whole camp

Coached Trifit-XT athletes. $40 for the whole camp.

Refunds- We understand life happens. Here is our refund policy:
• 2 weeks out= full refund
• 7 days out= 50% refund
• Less than 7 days or no show= no refund 
Should there be inclement weather we will refund the full amount minus the pool/other fees we had to pay.
